Frequently asked questions

Costs vary by event type. The average US wedding runs $30,000–$38,000; a birthday party for 50 guests typically costs $500–$3,000; and a mid-size corporate conference averages $1,500–$5,000 per attendee. Our calculators use 2026 vendor survey data so your estimates reflect current market rates.

Yes. The currency dropdown lets you switch between USD, GBP, EUR, INR, AUD, CAD, and AED instantly. The pre-filled averages are based on US data, but you can overwrite any figure with local vendor quotes.
A contingency buffer is a percentage of your total budget set aside for unexpected costs — vendor tips, last-minute printing, alteration fees, and so on. We recommend 8% as a starting point; 5% if you have firm quotes for everything, 10–12% if your plans are still fluid.
